AWA's TDS
TDS — total dissolved solids — is the international measure of water mineral content, in milligrams per liter.
AWA’s TDS is 6 mg/L, per laboratory analysis under ISO 9001 accreditation. The Fine Water Society classifies waters in this range as Super Low — the lowest mineral category in its international scale.
In context:
| Water | TDS | Category |
|---|---|---|
| AWA | 6 mg/L | Super Low |
| Svalbarði — Norway | 8 mg/L | Super Low |
| Voss — Norway | 22 mg/L | Low |
| Acqua Panna — Italy | 140 mg/L | Medium |
Most bottled waters travel through rock — deep aquifers, geological formations, centuries of contact. That passage translates into mineral content.
AWA does not make that passage. It is captured from the humidity released by the Amazon rainforest canopy, before any contact with soil.
The low mineral content is a direct consequence of the atmospheric origin.
At the table, it translates into minimal interference with whatever it accompanies.
